Valuations
Kingston Morehen are RICS Registered Valuers and can carry-out Valuations to determine or confirm the value of a property. This is normally based on an inspection, although in some circumstances can be a desktop exercise. We undertake valuations to comply with the RICS “Red Book”, the Valuation – Professional Standards Manual, which governs the methodology and standard of valuation work.
Market valuations can be provided for the following purposes:
- Purchase or sale
- Inheritance tax
- Capital gains tax, including 1982 values
- Secured lending
- Matrimonial proceedings
- Insurance
- Company accounts
- Charities Act
- SIPP / SSAS pensions
In addition to providing a valuation as a singular exercise, valuations can be included with survey reports.
Kingston Morehen particularly specialises in leasehold enfranchisement, concerning lease extensions or acquiring the freehold of a house or block of flats.
